Seth Harris Joins Capital Square 1031 as Executive Vice President of Investments

Investment expert with track record of $3 billion in acquisitions, finance and refinance transactions joins the expanding Capital Square 1031 team


RICHMOND, Va., May 02, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Capital Square 1031, LLC, a leading sponsor of replacement property for Section 1031 exchanges, announced today that Seth Harris, a commercial real estate veteran with more than a decade of experience in multi-family acquisitions and financing, has joined the firm as executive vice president of investments.

Harris joins Capital Square 1031 from Landmark Apartment Trust, where he spent 11 years, ultimately as vice president of financial services. During his tenure, he completed approximately $1.3 billion in multi-family refinance and disposition transactions, purchased 56 multi-family properties with an aggregate value of $1.3 billion, and closed $900 million in multi-family financing from agencies, banks, insurance companies, and CMBS lenders.

Harris earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in real estate with a concentration in finance and investment from New York University.
