LEXINGTON, Ky., May 08, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The underserved have another resource in the form of donations from Lynch Chiropractic Center, by way of a new initiative. Lynch Chiropractic Center raised $6,500 for the Wounded Warrior Project, provided toys and gifts to 15 children registered with the Salvation Army Christmas Assistance program, and now looks to contribute to different causes each month with the use of Check-In Angels. Their Check-In Angels program, which partners with world-class non-profits by providing assistance and aid to populations in need, began on May 1st, and continued patient support is vital for the success of the program.
Check-In Angels supplies resources to different charities and causes every month. This May, each check-in at Lynch Chiropractic Center on Facebook will provide two days of prenatal vitamins to pregnant women across the globe who don’t have access to the nutrients they need. The prenatal vitamins are beneficial to populations that frequently do not receive the prenatal care and recommended level of nutrients for optimal outcomes for newborns and their mothers. Patients are a critical aspect of this project, as they can support the cause by checking-in on Facebook. Lynch Chiropractic Center will continue to support non-profits with the participation of their patients, by spreading the word to more people in order to help others around the world live healthier lives. Previous Check-In Angels collective initiatives have raised more than $1 million dollars for communities in need.
“We are lucky to be serving a community that cares about those around them as much as we do, and want to make a difference in the lives of others,” said Dr. Kevin Lynch. “In my experience, prenatal vitamins can truly help improve mother and newborn outcomes, and now a simple Facebook check-in this month can make it happen. The Check-In Angels program initiative is our way to contribute to our local community and to help people in the under-served places of the world. We are grateful to our patients for their continued patronage and support of our previous community programs, and we look forward to providing aid to those that need it most.”
