Although many distinguished nominations were received, Somnia is proud to announce that Dr. Robert Dillow, from the University Medical Center (UMC) of El Paso, Texas, was selected for exemplifying high-quality patient care and outstanding leadership qualities in his practice. Dr. Dillow graduated from the University of Texas at Galveston Medical School with a specialty in anesthesiology. Before joining the anesthesia team at UMC El Paso, Dr. Dillow was chief of anesthesiology at Las Palmas Del Sol Medical Center and was in charge of the trauma and cardiology practices. Dr. Dillow has extensive experience supervising high-risk OB patients along with treating pediatric patients, and his wide variety of skills has distinguished him among colleagues. As an anesthesiologist at UMC El Paso, he is an active member of the anesthesia team, displaying exceptional leadership, crisis management skills and clinical skills while also being a valued colleague and team player.
