Low VA Rates Makes the 2015 Scotsman Guide List

LINDON, Utah, May 12, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Low VA Rates has again made its mark in Scotsman Guide's top VA loan originators, this time with even more LOs on the list than ever before. Each year, the Scotsman Guide magazine ranks the top-producing mortgage originators, brokers, and bankers in the nation. The guide produces several lists that are divided up by category of industry, some of which include the top volume for FHA, USDA, HELOC, and VA loans. These lists are comprehensive, thoroughly audited, and intensely verified in order to produce a ranking that consumers and other lenders can rely on. Over the years, the Scotsman Guide's rankings have grown in popularity and prestige, and in 2015 the magazine had more than 2,400 applicants—the most in guide history.

Low VA Rates, which deals almost exclusively with VA loans, was pleased to have 21 of its loan officers included in the Scotsman Guide's list of the top 75 VA loan originators in the country, released last month. As the title suggests, this list calculates the total volume of VA loans that each loan originator produced in 2015, in terms of how many loans were processed and the dollar value the loans added up to.

With 21 out of 75 names on that list, Low VA Rates employees composed almost 30 percent of the total – a larger percentage than any other VA mortgage company. Loan officers Ryan Sawyer and Jaren Ahlmann both ranked in the top 10.
