Media Advisory: David Crombie to Be Made an Honorary Member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 16, 2016) - David Crombie will be made an Honorary Member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) at a luncheon reception being hosted at Queen's Park on May 18, 2016.

OPPI believes that it is important to recognize the work of people who are not planners who show an extraordinary interest in the planning profession and contribute substantially to healthy and sustainable communities. By recognizing the efforts of people like Mr. Crombie, the Institute is acknowledging the valuable contributions of those outside of the planning profession. The Institute will also be profiling at the reception the importance of planning and planners in the Province of Ontario and in support of this, the Professional Regulation efforts that are being undertaken.
