Smartcool Signs Eco Energy Concepts as a Key Distribution Partner

(TSX VENTURE: SSC) (OTCQB: SSCFF) is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with a new Distribution Partner in the strategically significant Vancouver, BC, market. Time 4 Eco Energy Concepts (Eco Energy Concepts) is an energy efficiency consultancy with a specific focus on cooling efficiency, LED lighting conversions, and building management systems (BMS). Eco Energy Concepts has begun selling Smartcool's ECO3 product in order to optimize the performance of the air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump systems of their commercial customers.

The Vancouver region is known as a very green market, which can be seen in both the private and public sectors. Businesses are highly motivated to become more energy efficient in order to minimize costs and greenhouse gas emissions. In the public sector, the City of Vancouver has undertaken numerous green projects as part of its Greenest City 2020 Action Plan and the province of British Columbia has directed considerable efforts to being carbon neutral.

Eco Energy Concepts is using Smartcool's technology as part of their comprehensive energy efficiency solutions. The company has installed the ECO3 product at a craft brewery, multiple auto dealers, along with numerous ongoing Smartcool tests including applications for restaurant refrigeration and craft brewery cooling. When combined with energy efficient light upgrades, building management systems and other energy concepts, the operating expenses and carbon footprint of most businesses can be significantly reduced.
