King & Spalding Hires Finance Partner in New York

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - June 08, 2016) - King & Spalding has recruited Jeffrey A. Misher as a partner to its Global Finance practice in New York. Misher will focus on advising U.S. and international banks and financial institutions on a selection of structured finance and leveraged finance matters. Misher joins from Kaye Scholer and follows on from last month's recruitment of Terry D. Novetsky in New York.

Misher's practice covers cash flow and asset-based finance, trade finance, loan and lease securitizations and restructurings. He has represented numerous financial institutions including one of the largest lenders in the healthcare sector in its financing program and commercial loans. Misher received his undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University in 2000 and his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2003.

"Jeff's background and experience in a variety of practice areas in domestic and international finance make him a terrific addition to our office in New York as well as the wider U.S. and global practice," said Carolyn Z. Alford, head of the firm's Global Finance practice. "He will work closely with both our leveraged finance team and our growing structured finance team as part of our continuing push to expand the services and skills that we offer our clients in the Global Finance and Financial Institutions practices."

Misher added, "I am impressed by the sophistication and bench of King & Spalding's Global Finance practice and am looking forward to working with my new colleagues around the world."

King & Spalding's Global Finance practice brings together more than 100 finance lawyers located in offices across the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East to represent lenders, investors, funds and borrowers in the full range of secured and unsecured financings.
