Skanska constructs and renovates schools in Cincinnati, USA, for USD 54M, about SEK 450M


Skanska has, together with its joint venture partner Megen Construction, signed
a contract with the Northwest Local School District to manage its master
facility plan, a multi-building construction and renovation project in
Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. The total contract is worth USD 77M. Skanska USA Building
will include its 70 percent share of the contract worth USD 54M, about SEK 450M,
in the order bookings the second quarter 2016.
The contract includes oversite of the design and construction of three new
replacement elementary schools and the renovation of Colerain High School,
Northwest High School, White Oak Middle School, Pleasant Run Middle School, and
Monfort Heights Elementary School. All three new elementary schools are
targeting LEED Silver certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design).

Construction is scheduled to begin in October 2016 and is slated for completion
in August 2018.
