BRADFORD, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 15, 2016) - What do Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Liam Hemsworth have in common? In addition to being extremely handsome, they're also animal-friendly celebrities nominated in a naming contest - for a baby goat! Wishing Well Sanctuary is asking for the public's help in choosing a name for the newborn baby goat and is directing people to visit www.wishingwellsanctuary.org to vote for their favourite name.
Wishing Well Sanctuary is hopeful that the Hollywood heartthrobs nominated in the naming contest will use their star power for the greater good and help call attention to the plight of farmed animals. "This contest is a fun way for the public to help name 'our' baby goat, while raising awareness about the importance of having compassion for all animals" says Sanctuary founder Brenda Bronfman.
The baby goat will live out the rest of his life with his mom and aunt who were rescued by Toronto Animal Services and given a safe haven at the sanctuary. Raising a baby goat and his family is very expensive and the sanctuary is also calling on the public to help support them by donating to their online baby shower!
Photos and video of the baby goat available upon request. For more information visit www.wishingwellsanctuary.org or follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
