SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwired - Jun 28, 2016) - Vitamin World®, a leader in vitamins, nutritional supplements and sports and active nutrition, today announced that it is working with Avanade, the leader in digital and cloud services, business solutions and design-led experiences, to leverage a cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution that supports future growth with the aid of real-time information and business intelligence. As one of the first deployments of the newest version of Microsoft Dynamics AX solution in North America, it will be implemented in a phased approach over a period of 18 months.
The cloud-based offering will allow Vitamin World to focus on retail best practices and processes through a flexible, reliable and scalable ERP platform. The first phase of the project will bring key foundational business capabilities including finance, product data management, procurement, inventory and more onto one platform and is scheduled to be completed later this summer.
