Wynonna Earp Named Best New Show of 2016 for E!'s TV Scoop Awards

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 8, 2016) - Wynonna Earp, the comic-turned-hit-TV-series from IDW Entertainment, a subsidiary of IDW Media Holdings (OTC PINK: IDWM), earned plenty of high praise from critics for its debut season and now the fans have spoken with an overwhelming response in the E! News TV poll which named it Best New 2015/2016 show.

In a landslide win where Wynonna Earp earned 53.1% of the votes, it's clear the series struck a chord with fans who made the series a weekly event and would engage in live tweeting with the cast of the show each Friday. The series stars Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp), Shamier Anderson (Agent Dolls), Tim Rozon (Doc Holliday), and Dominique Provost-Chalkley (Waverly Earp) and was developed by showrunner Emily Andras (Lost Girl, Killjoys).

Fans attending Comic Con International in San Diego later this month will have a chance to meet the cast for signings, a panel, and a special fan meet-up at the San Diego Comic Art Gallery on Wednesday the 20^th to kick off the convention.
