CUPERTINO, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 13, 2016) - SugarCRM Inc., the company that enables businesses to create extraordinary customer relationships with the most empowering, adaptable and affordable CRM solution on the market, announced today that Doug Dennerline has joined the company's Board of Directors.
Dennerline is currently the CEO of Alfresco, a privately held software company in the enterprise content and business process management space. With an impressive career in enterprise technology spanning leadership roles in CRM, document management, collaboration and HR software, he brings a wealth of practical and relevant expertise to help guide SugarCRM as the company accelerates its growth around the world.
"Doug's impressive experience growing enterprise sales and marketing software companies will be invaluable in helping us guide SugarCRM through our next stage of growth," said Larry Augustin, SugarCRM's chairman and CEO. "We look forward to Doug's contributions to our success, and are thrilled to continue to add some of the industry's top players to our Board."
Denneline is a 25-year veteran of some of Silicon Valley's biggest companies. Before leading Alfresco, Dennerline was the president of SuccessFactors, Inc. until its acquisition by SAP for $3.4 billion. Before joining SuccessFactors, he was executive vice president of enterprise sales for Americas at Salesforce.com. Previously, Doug spent 11 years at Cisco in a number of leadership roles, including chief executive of the company's WebEx division.
"SugarCRM is in a very exciting place right now. Sugar is a much more adaptable CRM platform than those offered by other leaders in this space -- one that offers businesses the freedom and flexibility to really differentiate themselves," said Dennerline. "I am proud to join SugarCRM as a board member, and I'm looking forward to helping to drive the company's next wave of growth."
Dennerline joins a distinctive group on SugarCRM's Board. In December 2015, SugarCRM appointed to its Board Frank Fanzilli, the former global CIO at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) and Credit Suisse.
