Software Veteran Marc Aronson Joins Delphix as Head of Engineering

MENLO PARK, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 26, 2016) -  Delphix, the market leader in data virtualization, has named Marc Aronson, a software industry veteran and former Oracle executive, as its Senior Vice President of Engineering. This appointment is the latest in a series of strategic hires by Delphix that strengthens the company's leadership team and positions Delphix for continued success. In his new role, Aronson will provide direction for the company's enterprise-ready software, responding to needs of the market and Delphix customers, while also driving high-performance standards within the Delphix engineering organization.

An accomplished engineering executive, Aronson joins Delphix from Zuora. Over the course of his Forty year career, Aronson has developed a strong reputation for successfully building and managing high performance engineering organizations. He has excelled at creating scalable enterprise products -- both on premise and in the cloud -- and fostering high-performing, collaborative engineering organizations. He's held leadership roles with Oracle, Adobe System, Portal Software, CA Technologies, TeleNav, and most recently, Zuora.

The Delphix team has evolved significantly in the last six months, with founder Jedidiah Yueh stepping into the role of Executive Chairman, and bringing on Chris Cook as CEO. Stewart Grierson also joined the company as CFO in May of 2015. The addition of Marc Aronson to the team builds on a series of strategic hires for Delphix that will position the company well not only for long-term viability but also to stretch the boundaries of what is possible through data virtualization.
