Commercial Real Estate Expert Constantine Korologos Joins BRG Capital Markets Services

EMERYVILLE, CA--(Marketwired - August 02, 2016) - Berkeley Research Group announced today that Constantine "Tino" Korologos has joined as a managing director in the firm's BRG Capital Markets Services practice, based in New York.

Korologos has over 30 years of experience in real estate consulting, valuation and advisory, asset management, acquisitions, litigation support, underwriting and credit analysis, debt and equity capital markets, structured finance and rating agency experience in commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS). He has deep technical and credit experience with lenders, private equity and real estate funds, REITs, regulatory agencies, insurance companies, accounting firms and law firms.

Korologos has held several senior-level positions including managing director with Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, where he was a senior leader in the national real estate advisory practice. Prior positions include managing director and global head of Real Estate Rating Agency Execution with Wachovia Securities, and managing director/principal with Bear Stearns & Co., where he managed the ratings process for CMBS and was involved in loan origination, credit, underwriting and bond distribution. Other related experience has included roles with GE Real Estate as director of its Capital Markets Group, Moody's Investor Service as vice president and senior analyst in its Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities group, and Equitable Real Estate Investment Management as chief appraiser and asset manager for the Northeast Region.

In addition to his extensive professional experience, Korologos is an adjunct professor of real estate with New York University's Schack Real Estate Institute, where he has taught in the master's degree program for over 18 years. He has served as an expert witness in real estate capital markets and valuation cases, has spoken on numerous industry panels and continues to guest lecture with professional organizations.
