CARLSBAD, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 4, 2016) - Enviance, a leader in cloud-based environmental, health and safety (EH&S) management software, today announced that Amy Stelling has joined the company as president and CEO. Stelling -- who was previously an executive-in-residence at the global investment firm Battery Ventures, the backer of Enviance -- brings to the role a wealth of operational experience including integrating software products and teams to better serve customers.
Since Battery's investment in Enviance in February of 2015, the company has focused on evolving its core product's functionality as well as broadening its product portfolio by acquiring complimentary solutions in the EH&S software management market. Many of the world's leading corporations and governments rely on the Enviance platform to comply with environmental regulations such as the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act, as well as to promote health and safety best practices through office ergonomics, injury prevention, and safety management technologies.
In April of 2015, Enviance acquired Remedy Interactive, a provider of ergonomic and safety management software and this past June, the company completed its acquisition of Actio, an EH&S software solution for materials and supply chain management. Together, these solutions enable Enviance to deliver the most comprehensive EH&S management solution on the market, providing customers a higher-level of confidence in the security, scalability and strategic value of their EH&S management data.
"Amy's track record of successful integration projects will enable Enviance to quickly and efficiently align the teams and solutions we are bringing together now and in the future," said Russell Fleischer, a general partner at Battery Ventures and member of the Enviance board.
He added: "I first met Amy in 2010 at HighJump Software when I joined as the company's CEO. She is one of the most talented executives I've had the pleasure to work with, and I look forward to partnering with her again in this new role."
Prior to working with Battery Ventures, Stelling spent 13 years at HighJump Software, a supply-chain management software company and former Battery Ventures portfolio company. At HighJump, Stelling held various roles, including senior vice president and general manager for the direct-store delivery division, as well as senior VP of the worldwide-support division, which was part of a larger supply-chain execution group. She received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
"Managing environmental, health and safety (EH&S) data is of critical importance to our customers, as they demonstrate compliance with federal and state environmental regulations; ensure employee health and safety; and aim to optimize operational efficiencies," said Stelling. "I look forward to working with the entire Enviance team to enhance the platform; identify strategic integrations between our current products and potential future add-ons; and above all, to maintain our strong commitment to serving our customers by delivering the most comprehensive set of market-leading solutions."
