ALEXANDRIA, VA--(Marketwired - September 07, 2016) - ASIS International, the leading organization for security professionals worldwide, has selected its ASIS 2016 Accolades Award winners. ASIS Accolades recognizes the security industry's most innovative new products, services, and/or solutions featured at the ASIS International Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2016), taking place Sept 12-15 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Nearly 20,000 security, business, and government professionals from more than 90 countries are expected to attend ASIS 2016 and the colocated (ISC)2 Security Congress and InfraGard 20th Anniversary Congress & Conference.
The Accolades Awards will be presented at Monday's lunch, Sept. 12th. All entrants have been invited to display their entries in the Accolades Showcase in the exhibit hall (Booth #3379), and they can be previewed on the ASIS mobile app. Additionally, the winning entries will be highlighted, along with other new products, during the Seminar Session, "Security's Future is Here," on Monday, Sept. 12 at 1:45 p.m.
A team of judges representing experts in security technologies evaluated all Accolades entries and selected this year's winners. As a group, the winners are exceptional because of their focus on low cost and speed to facilitate corporate incident management through innovative uses of the cloud, barriers, radar, and networks. Of the ten winners, the judges determined that the WCCTV Body Worn Camera (Connect) by Wireless CCTV, LLC was the most innovative entry and named it the Judges Choice Award Winner.
In Orlando, ASIS 2016 attendees will be asked to vote for a People's Choice Award from among the ten finalists. This award will be presented at the keynote session on Wednesday, Sept 14. Attendees may vote using the ASIS mobile app (download by searching "ASIS 2016" in the Google Play or app store) or via voting kiosks in the Accolades Showcase, or the ASIS Booth as well as at Registration.
