NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - September 12, 2016) - Boutique strategic communications agency, DiGennaro Communications (DGC), today announced the appointment of Bob Osmond as Executive Vice President of Client Service to help deliver against the agency's vision for a re-engineered integrated offering, as well as its ongoing commitment to quality client service and results. In this newly created role, Osmond will be on the agency's Executive Team and will report to DGC's CEO/President, Samantha DiGennaro.
To keep pace with clients' needs within an evolving communications landscape, as well as to help absorb strong growth that DGC has experienced over the past eighteen months, the agency is investing in game-changing talent such as Osmond, who will build upon and diversify DGC's existing team of 40.
"Bob's deep experience overseeing integrated marketing, thought leadership and PR programs for some of the world's best brands and agencies will help take DGC's client service and strategic client counsel to the next level," said DiGennaro.
With over twenty years in the communications industry, Osmond's experience spans a range of technology, consumer and services companies. Most recently he directed the global P&G Gillette account as an SVP within the brand practice at Ketchum, where he also served as senior counselor on a portfolio of other businesses. Before that, Osmond led Cohn & Wolfe San Francisco, including running the agency's Panasonic business. Prior to Cohn & Wolfe, Bob founded and ran an independent communications consultancy after several successful years at technology-focused UpStart Communications, a FleishmanHillard agency.
Over the course of his career, Osmond has worked with a number of marquee brands including Panasonic; Gillette; HP Services; Sun Microsystems; Interwoven; Documentum; Ooma; MakerBot; ETRADE; Enviance; GE Healthcare and others. His work with his teams has received industry recognition, including Cannes Lion, PR Week Silver Anvil, Sabre and Compass Awards.
"Clients need smart, nimble and committed partners to help them navigate an evolving communications landscape. The team at DiGennaro Communications epitomizes these characteristics," says Osmond. "When it comes to problem solving and solution-building for clients, DGC brings a strategic scrappiness that is fun to watch -- and it is that entrepreneurial spirt that drew me in. I'm looking forward to contributing to client successes as I help DGC continue to grow and evolve."
"He's a perfect fit for the 'new' DGC, as we celebrate our 10th anniversary and prepare for the next decade. What's more, Bob ran his own communications consultancy and has a strong entrepreneurial bent. I'm thrilled for Bob to join DGC as executive leadership," said DiGennaro.
