Hispanicize 2017’s 2nd Annual DiMe Summit for Latina and Multicultural Creators to Take Place at Hip Art Museum in Miami’s Art District

MIAMI, Sept. 20, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- To underscore the importance of creativity and quality storytelling for digital creators, organizers of Hispanicize 2017 today announced that its 2nd Annual DiMe Summit for multicultural creators will be held at the Rubell Family Collection museum, one of the world’s largest, privately owned contemporary art collections.

Curated by DiMe Media, the 2nd annual DiMe Summit is an intimate, influencers-only day of in-depth workshops, sessions, inspirational talks, and VIP content. The summit kicks off Hispanicize 2017 Week on Monday, April 3rd in Miami’s Wynwood arts district and will welcome 250 top Latina, Latino, and multicultural creators and celebrities. The Rubell will be transformed into a creator’s playground featuring a jam-packed agenda of in-depth workshops on creative writing, photography, shooting and editing videos, branding, social media, and much more. There will also be a variety of opportunities to meet with brands that truly want to connect and build lasting relationships with influencers.

“The Rubell is historic, quirky, spacious and packed with the kind of creative, interactive environment we know is going to delight our digital creators and brand sponsors alike,” said Piera Jolly, Chief Operations Officer of Hispanicize Media Group. “This is going to be a high energy program that showcases what Hispanicize has come to symbolize for building up the Latina and multicultural creators community. Our main goal is to inspire and empower Latina and multicultural creators, digital influencers, and entrepreneurs by equipping them with the tools and resources they need to take their platforms to the next level.”

The Rubell Family Collection was established in 1964 in New York City, shortly after its founders Donald and Mera Rubell were married. In Miami, since 1993, the RFC is exhibited within a 45,000-square-foot repurposed Drug Enforcement Agency confiscated goods facility and is publicly accessible.

The collection is constantly expanding and features such well-known artists as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Jeff Koons, Cady Noland, Yayoi Kusama, Cindy Sherman and Kara Walker. In addition to displaying internationally established artists, the RFC actively acquires, exhibits and champions emerging artists working at the forefront of contemporary art.

In addition to the DiMe Summit, the rest of the Hispanicize 2017 will feature three more days of social media A-listers and rising stars from YouTube, Facebook, Vine, Periscope, SnapChat, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and blogging than ever before.
