ALAMEDA, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 21, 2016) - Jitterbit, the leading provider of fast, agile integration solutions for the modern enterprise, today announced significant customer and revenue growth in its latest fiscal quarter ending July 31. The company added 56 new customers in the second quarter, with major new businesses from a range of industries signing on, including Boelter, Daqri, DeVry University, Intelliflo, Target and Wex. Revenue also rose 77 percent compared to the same quarter last year.
Jitterbit's near-perfect 97 percent customer retention rate demonstrated the consistent success enterprises found by integrating business processes on the fast, flexible, cloud-based connectivity platform. With a cloud platform designed to connect on-premise, cloud, mobile and Internet of Things (IoT) endpoints quickly and easily, 75 percent of new customers were able to go live on the platform within 30 days. Following initial setup, Jitterbit has enabled companies to realize an incredibly fast cadence for additional integrations, with average time to set up new connections falling below two days.
Adapting to the new digital economy requires seamless connections between systems and business processes. More organizations have discovered that their integration strategies dictate success or failure in the shift to digital commerce. The average Jitterbit customer now leverages more than five integrations, and Jitterbit's unified, scalable integration platform connects more than 141,000 endpoints across the globe every day, connecting cloud and on-premise applications as well as mobile devices and API Gateways.
The number of new connections continues to outpace new customers joining the platform marking a major shift in add-on integrations across the existing and new customer base, demonstrated by the 90 percent year-over-year growth in live integrations in the second quarter. In line with this trend, CancerLinQ, a cutting-edge project to collect and share cancer treatment data for the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), has already its expanded its deployment with Jitterbit since initial implementation at the end of last year.
"Integration has never been more important to the success of a company," said Jitterbit Vice President of Marketing and Alliances Andrew Leigh. "This quarter we saw a clear shift in the digital divide between companies that use digital connectivity to disrupt their markets and those that are slowly drowning in their own data."
In addition to adding new customers and connections at a rapid pace, Jitterbit has also kept up its intense focus on developing upgrades and new products to provide faster, more reliable and secure integrations. In July, Jitterbit launched Harmony Summer '16, the latest version of its cloud connectivity platform, with an expanded library of pre-built connectors running on upgraded cloud infrastructure that delivers greater performance and scalability to satisfy even the most complex integration requirements.
Building on its partnership with Autodesk, Jitterbit's integration platform was rolled out as a fully embedded user interface within Autodesk's new product lifecycle management solution, Fusion Lifecycle. Jitterbit also released the new Duet Integration Cloud managed service for Infor customers through a partnership with Endowance, and delivered a new suite of prebuilt solutions for field service together with ServiceMax.
Finally, Jitterbit continued to grow its global workforce, increasing total headcount by more than 10 percent across all departments from development to sales. The company opened a new office in Amsterdam to serve its expanding base of customers in the EMEA region, and appointed seasoned marketing executive Kara Wilson to fill a new seat on Jitterbit's board of directors.
