McAdam Announces New Advanced Designations for Nine Advisors and Investment Director

PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwired - Oct 26, 2016) - McAdam, a leading Philadelphia-headquartered financial planning firm, announced today the certification of nine advisors as Certified Financial Planners™ (CFP®) and the designation of Investment Director Linus Park as a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®). These achievements demonstrate the firm's ongoing commitment to advancing the careers of its advisors and providing independent financial planning services to clients through its RIA hybrid model. With these designations, nearly 50 percent of all McAdam advisors with at least three years of experience have now passed the CFP® exam. Park is the second CFA® at the firm.

These individuals successfully completed the rigorous requirements that include course work and a series of examinations covering financial planning, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. Individuals with the CFP^® certification agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and uphold the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct developed by the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards, Inc.

CFP® certification is a well-known financial planning designation that is held by only 20 percent of U.S. advisors(1). These individuals join existing CFP^® practitioners at McAdam Anthony Chirchirillo, Sean Morrissey, Michael Blahusch, Phil Simonides, Justin Caudle, Linus Park and Thomas Holt. McAdam has a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in each of its five locations to work with clients on their financial goals.

Investment Director Linus Park successfully completed the rigorous requirements to receive the CFA® designation that include coursework and a series of examinations covering ethical and professional standards, quantitative methods, economics, financial reporting and analysis, corporate finance, equity investments, fixed-income investments, derivatives, alternative investments, portfolio management, and wealth planning. Linus joins existing charter holder Kevin McAdam.
