Spirit Airlines begins service today at the Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), the 57th airport to join its growing network. Spirit now offers new daily nonstop service between Newark and the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Orlando International Airport (MCO). Service to/from Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) will begin March 9, 2017. So ditch the snow boots and scrapers, and book your Sunshine State adventure just in time for winter.

This new service complements Spirit’s existing service in the New York/New Jersey area, including 11 daily flights from New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and 11 daily flights from Atlantic City International Airport (ACY).
In addition to these nonstop flights, Spirit will offer connecting service from Newark via its Fort Lauderdale home and Orlando to more than 30 destinations, including more than 20 to/from the Caribbean and Latin America. Spirit will also add two more airports to its network in the coming weeks, including the Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) beginning November 10 and Havana’s José Martí International Airport (HAV) on December 1 (pending Cuban government approval).
