Shindigz Launches Redesigned Website in Conjunction with New Tim Tebow Foundation Partnership

Shindigz launches new initiatives, including a new website and a partnership with the Tim Tebow Foundation, to improve culture and society and put the customer first


SOUTH WHITLEY, Ind., Nov. 14, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Shindigz unveiled this month new initiatives which it hopes will be the next step in meeting the ever-changing needs of their customers. Among the changes to Shindigz.com is an improved mobile-shopping experience and a new partnership with the Tim Tebow Foundation.

Customers can now shop for party supplies on the go with ease. The new site showcases the company’s more than 40,000 products and makes it simple for customers to personalize and purchase the items from anywhere via smart phone or tablet.

“We offer many ways to make life more fun and our new site will allow us to feature those opportunities in a more robust manner,” said Matt Wojewuczki, Chief Executive Officer for Shindigz.

Wojewuczki emphasized that providing the best possible party planning experience was at the heart of the decision to upgrade the site.

Organizational leadership spent time examining how customers were shopping for their items and worked to create an experience that would work for them.

“We’ve spent time talking with our customers and two themes are really driving them today,” said Kenneth Weiss, Vice President of Marketing as Shindigz.

Leadership found the two factors that were effecting customer’s buying habits were two-fold.

“One, they are more on the go and more time constrained than ever before so shopping needs to be easier,” Weiss said. “Two, customers want to buy from organizations that are absolutely committed to being a part of a better culture and society.”

To meet customer’s time constraints and mobile life-style, the development team paid special attention to how the site operated on mobile phones and tablets.

“Approximately 50% of our customers come to Shindigz from their mobile device,” Bart Robinson, Vice President of Product Management, said. “As a result, we focused on maintaining an easy and engaging shopping experience and improved personalization engine.”

In addition to the mobile-centric design, customers can also expect to find improved navigation, a product comparison feature, a new personalization engine, the ability to create multiple wish lists, and a new rewards program.

To meet the organization’s goal to be a company that improves culture and society, leadership began to seek out partnerships with other organizations and nonprofits.

“When we began working with the Tim Tebow Foundation we found an organization whose goals were incredibly similar to ours,” said Weiss.  “Their Night to Shine event is about creating a great prom experience for differently-abled kids who do not typically get to have a prom experience – and we are EXPERTS in creating prom experiences!” 

Weiss emphasized that the partnership goes beyond a traditional sponsorship.

“We are truly partnering with the Foundation to help throw 500 great proms across the country,” Weiss said.
