Observation status removed from bonds issued by Hafnarfjarðarkaupstaður

On May 30, 2016, bonds issued by Hafnarfjarðarkaupstaður (symbol: HFJ 14 1) received an observation status with reference to an uncertainty in regards to the price formation of the bonds. The uncertainty was attributed to a dispute between the issuer and the monitoring specialist concerning the calculation method of the bond‘s cash flow, cf. an announcement from the issuer on May 30, 2016. On November 22, 2016, Hafnarfjarðarkaupstaður published an announcement including, i.a., a confirmation from the monitoring specialist for the bonds of the bond payment which had previously been disputed. With reference to this information, Nasdaq Iceland hf. („the Exchange“) is of the opinion that there is no longer an uncertainty in regards to the price formation of the bonds and has therefore decided to remove the observation status from the bonds issued by Hafnarfjarðarkaupstaður. The decision is effective as of November 23, 2016
