JEFFERSONVILLE, IN--(Marketwired - December 19, 2016) - American Commercial Barge Line (ACBL), a subsidiary of American Commercial Lines Inc. (ACL) announced today the appointment of Patrick Sutton to Vice President, Liquid Sales, reporting to Bob Blocker, Senior Vice President of Sales and Customer Service. Most recently, Mr. Sutton was the President of ACL's manufacturing subsidiary, Jeffboat LLC, helping the organization develop unparalleled success with its commercial sales strategy while simultaneously improving barge quality, production, and safety results. Mr. Sutton has held several positions in his 11 years with the Company, including Industrial Engineer, Director of Fleet and Terminal Operations, Director of Strategic Planning, and Plant Manager.

Succeeding Mr. Sutton at Jeffboat is Mr. Michael Poindexter. Mr. Poindexter will hold the title Vice President and General Manager. Michael will report to American Commercial Lines President and CEO, Mark Knoy. Mr. Poindexter has held several key positions within the organization, most recently as Director, Barge Maintenance, and brings nearly four decades of experience into the role.
