Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch Hires Animal Advocate Julia Orr to Lead Communications for Animal Welfare, Rescue, and Sanctuary

Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch (JARR), a world-class animal rescue organization that exemplifies the values of quality, commitment, and generosity of the Napa Valley, has hired animal advocate Julia Orr to lead its communications programs.  In this role, Julia will be responsible for driving and implementing the organization’s national communications and marketing strategies.

Prior to joining JARR, Orr was principal of Orr PR Associates, a communications agency largely dedicated to nonprofits, with an emphasis on animal advocacy and rights. For more than five years, Orr has focused her expertise on assisting animal protection agencies raise their profiles and bring attention to their causes. Her clients and campaigns included The Animal Museum, Farm Animal Rights Movement, Animal Justice Projects, Deadly Doses campaign, and Beagle Freedom Project. Before starting her own business, she worked for more than ten years in Global Publicity for the Walt Disney Studios and at the DDA Public Relations Agency.
