Restaurants Across the GTA Welcome Insects on Their Menu For Earth Week April 17-22


RICHMOND HILL, Ontario, March 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- A culinary event like none other, Jump into Spring April 17-22 celebrates Earth Week by bringing crickets onto the menus of at least 50 restaurants across the GTA. Awarded a grant by the Ontario Greenbelt Fund, Ontario-based Entomo Farms, North America’s largest cricket farm, sets out to introduce Ontario restaurant-goers to the nutritious, delicious and environmentally sustainable cricket through creative cuisine. Participating restaurants include all Ontario locations of Milestones restaurants, all locations of Select Sandwich restaurants, El Catrin Distileria, Ground Burger Bar, and many more.
