Order of a research MBE system in India

Bezons, April 4th, 2017 - 5:45 pm - RIBER, a global market leader for semiconductor industry equipment, is announcing the order of a research MBE system.

The research institute GAETEC (Gallium Arsenide Enabling Technology Centre), based in Hyderabad, India, has ordered a research fully-automated MBE system, model MBE412, to fit its pilot production line of microwave device materials. This unit at GAETEC will be the first pure play MBE based manufacturing initiative in India.

The MBE412 system allows making epitaxies on 4'' wafer diameter or on multiple 2'' wafer diameter. It is mainly used for the development of new microelectronic or photo-electronic devices, as well as their qualification before going into full production.

This new order consolidates RIBER's leading position on the Indian MBE system market.
