CHANTILLY, Va., April 7, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Community Management Corporation General Manager Richard Kuziomko, MBA, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, recently presented on behalf of the Washington Metropolitan Chapter of Community Associations Institute (WMCCAI) educating board members and managers about current issues related to budgeting and reserve funds.
Kuziomko presented alongside Michelle Baldry, P.E., PRA, RS, regional director for Reserve Advisors. Baldry's portion of the seminar covered the creation, calculation and use of reserve studies. Kuziomko, who is a specialist in finance, covered capital budgeting, reserves as a tool for capital, expenses and the relationship of all three to financial statements.
"We are pleased that Richard continues to present on behalf of WMCCAI and share his industry expertise with our clients and other community association professionals," said Nick Mazzarella MBA, CMCA, PCAM, LSM, Community Management Corporation President. "There is a need to inform boards about non-operating expenses and this seminar filled that void. We hope we can continue seminars like this to continue educating association industry professionals in the Washington D.C. area."
In total, the presentation included portions on capital planning, management, funding courses, investments and board member relationships. A total of 50 participants attended the interactive presentation. The consensus among them was the event was not only a success, but it should be replicated to other locations to other industry professionals. Overall, Kuziomko has presented four times for WMCCAI in the last three years.
