Today, Hillard Heintze announced that Michael White, the Special Agent in Charge of the Presidential Protective Division (PPD), will be joining the executive leadership team at Hillard Heintze. White will lead the firm’s Private Client and Family Office services. He is retiring from the U.S. Secret Service on May 31, 2017, after a 26-year career.

As Special Agent in Charge of the PPD, White developed and executed a multi-million dollar budget and all protective programs for the PPD. He authorized, directed and implemented contingency plans and supervised the day-to-day intelligence stream on domestic and international threats to the President, the First Family and other protectees. He also enacted daily facility and operational plans to protect the First Family against internal and external threats, lone assailants, multiple attackers or explosive-laden vehicles and ensured presidential environments are protected against all risks, threats and vulnerabilities.
