Jacksonville, North Carolina, July 11, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Department of the Navy, United States Marine Corps (USMC), released on Tuesday, July 11 a presolicitation notice in which it outlined plans to issue a contract to a certified small business contractor who can replace and upgrade audio-visual (A/V) equipment.
The contract would cover removing existing A/V equipment in five classrooms; designing, furnishing, and installing a replacement A/V system; and providing a five-year warranty.
The USMC, according to the presolicitation notice, intends to issue a firm fixed-price contract in accordance with FAR Part 13 to a certified small business contractor. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334310, Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing, and the Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees.
The USMC will post the official solicitation on or about July 21, and in this solicitation, outline additional information about response due dates and requirements.
