Cheddar Announces “The Long and the Short” Presented by TradeStation

Cheddar and TradeStation launch a fresh new equity trading show for millennials

NEW YORK, July 17, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cheddar, a leading post-cable network, announced today the premier of “The Long and the Short,” a 30-minute weekly stock trading show presented by TradeStation.

“The Long and the Short” explores both near- and long-term potential trading strategies for millennials. The show will air weekly on Tuesdays live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

The show will focus on all aspects of trading, including potential strategies based on earnings, company news, hedging, sector rotations and risk management. With analysis designed to break through the noise, “The Long and the Short” aims to make investing interesting, intellectually stimulating and accessible to a new generation.

Show topics include the latest news from publicly traded companies, trading strategy ideas from experienced investors, and tools to help traders make smart, informed decisions. “The Long and the Short” will integrate TradeStation’s trading and analysis platform and commentary.

“TradeStation is thrilled to partner with Cheddar on ‘The Long and the Short,’” said John Bartleman, President of TradeStation Group, Inc. “What a great opportunity – not only to showcase our award-winning* trading platform to a new generation of investors, but also to help introduce them to the pure excitement, personal satisfaction and potential opportunities of trading the markets.”

“We are rebooting the trading show format for a new generation. TradeStation brings a dynamic platform to the center of the show to complement our cast of young, but experienced, investors. We believe that our focus on TMT (technology, media, and telecommunications) stocks will make ‘The Long and the Short’ THE trading show for millennials. This is not your mom or dad’s trading show,” said Jon Steinberg, founder and CEO of Cheddar.

This show will be the third in Cheddar’s branded content series recently detailed in Ad Age. “The Long and the Short” will air on Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. ET.

The “Long and the Short” is solely educational and informational, is not intended to give investment or trading advice or recommendations of any kind, and neither TradeStation nor Cheddar will be giving any such advice or recommendations. Not all products are suitable for all investors.
