Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, Aug. 01, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award to a contractor who can provide asphalt and tack oil to the United States Penitentiary Lewisburg. The government anticipates needing an estimated 2,680 tons of asphalt and 1,342 gallons of tack oil.
According to the solicitation, the government will apply the asphalt, and it will require the contractor to apply the tack oil. The government anticipates issuing an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm fixed-unit prices.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 324121 with a size standard of 500 employees.
The government, according to its solicitation, plans to make an official solicitation available on or about August 8, with responses due by no later than August 14.
