Give a pet a home this festive season during the Ontario SPCA’s “iAdopt for the Holidays” adoption blitz

NEWMARKET, Ontario, Nov. 01, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- This holiday season, give a homeless animal the gift of a loving home and a family to call their own during the national iAdopt for the Holidays adoption campaign, a program of the Ontario SPCA.

iAdopt for the Holidays, supported by Royal Canin, kicks off today and runs until Dec. 31 at participating SPCAs, Humane Societies and rescue groups nation wide. The goal is to get as many animals as possible placed into loving homes during the holiday season.

“With people having time off from work and being home together as a family, the holidays are a great time to welcome a new furry companion into your home,” says Tonya Martin, Director, Animal Centres & Humane Programming, Ontario SPCA. “Visit your local Ontario SPCA animal centre to take part in iAdopt for the Holidays and change an animal’s life this holiday season.”

For the fourth year in a row, anyone who adopts a cat or kitten from an Ontario SPCA animal centre in November will receive a box of Arm & Hammer Slide™ Cat Litter – its patented formula means used litter slides right out – while supplies last. All cats and kittens are available for adoption for $175 and are spayed or neutered, microchipped, come with a gift of six weeks of pet insurance and are up to date on their vaccinations.
