VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 10, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wavefront Innovation Society (“Wavefront”), a Canadian Centre of Excellence, is pleased to welcome 23 new companies across Canada into its Accelerator programs. Wavefront is Canada’s centre for commercialization of mobile and Internet of Things (“IoT”) technologies, and offers a variety of programs and services for startups, Small Medium Enterprises (“SMEs”), large enterprise and government. Wavefront has supported the growth of more than 1,000 mobile and wireless companies across Canada over the ten last years.
Wavefront’s Accelerator programs are focused on helping startups at various stages transform their business. The Venture Acceleration Program, an initiative of BCIC, is delivered in Vancouver and helps early stage entrepreneurs launch and grow their companies faster and smarter. After applying for the program, the following companies were accepted in to the 2017 Fall Cohort:

The National Entrepreneurship Program, a national program for early stage entrepreneurs, is delivered in Toronto at the Wavefront office and in Halifax through Volta Labs, a Wavefront partner.
