Located in the heart of the DOC zone of the Colli Orientali of Friuli, the winery built at the end of the sixteenth century, is one of the oldest wineries in North East Italy.
Family owned since 1596, the winery is currently operated by Dr. Emilio Rotolo and sons. Since the time of the Venice Republic (7th century to 1797) Volpe Pasini has had a reputation as an excellent wine producer. Today, the winery continues building on its superior reputation by adding 10, 90+ ratings from James Suckling, including a score of 91 for its Pinot Grigio Friuli Colli Orientali Grivo’ 2016 and a score of 94 for its Sauvignon Friuli Colli Orientali Zuc di Volpe 2016.
