Researchers at Cyber Monday Hero identify the best deals on the most popular consumer products for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday shows no signs of slowing down with retailers gearing up to offer more deals than ever before. Shopper numbers and total spending in 2017 are expected to be up on previous years. According to the National Retail Federation (NRF), spending during this year’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales season is likely to exceed £700 billion, representing a 4.2% annual increase on last year.
This year a huge number of deals are available online, marking a shift away from in-store Black Friday sales and the overcrowding that often resulted. A survey by the National Retail Federation highlighted that last year 109 million Americans shopped online over the Black Friday weekend compared with 99 million who went in-store, underlining e-commerce’s growing importance to retailers.
Most retailers started their Black Friday sales on Monday 20th November and are keeping deals running until midnight on Cyber Monday.
