New York, NY, Dec. 11, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- There are more than 250,000 women living in the U.S. today who were diagnosed with breast cancer before their 41st birthday. Young breast cancer survivors face a unique set of issues about which healthcare providers need to be informed.
Young Survival Coalition® (YSC), the premier organization dedicated to young women affected by breast cancer, is hosting its annual Summit February 23 - 25, 2018, in Orlando, Florida.
As part of the Summit, YSC is proud to offer an educational program series for healthcare providers: “A Different Shade of Pink: A Continuing Education Program About Breast Cancer in Young Women.” The half-day educational seminar will address issues unique to young women, including biological differences of tumors, recent progress in treating young women as well as psychosocial concerns.

The YSC Summit will take place February 23 - 25, 2018 at the Renaissance Orlando at Seaworld, in Orlando, Florida. “A Different Shade of Pink” will take place Friday, February 22, and is free of charge, though advanced registration is required.
The YSC Summit offers additional opportunities for education and connection with healthcare providers, speakers and exhibitors. The registration fee is $145 per person until January 1, 2018, and then $175 until February 16. Onsite registration is $200. Fee waivers are available to those who qualify, and fundraising options are available to offset expenses.
