SANTA BARBARA, CA, Dec. 21, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Vitamin Angels, a 501(c)3 public charity that helps malnourished mothers and children get life-saving vitamins, will receive a boost in donations from skincare company DERMA E. From December 24 through December 31, donors who want to make a donation to Vitamin Angels will be able to reach double the children through their donation thanks to a generous match commitment from DERMA E. All contributions made to Vitamin Angels will be matched up to a total of $10,000.
“This is a great time for donors to give to Vitamin Angels and make their final charitable contribution for 2017,” said Howard Schiffer, President and Founder of Vitamin Angels. “Their dollars will go to help double the children in need. Now that’s a great investment.”
The campaign, which launched on #GivingTuesday, set a goal of reaching 500,000 children through funds raised. Donors who give to Vitamin Angels can be confident that their donations will be used efficiently and transparently as over 90% of expenses go toward programming costs. As well, Vitamin Angels has received six consecutive 4-star ratings from Charity Navigator and a Platinum rating from GuideStar.

About DERMA E
DERMA E didn’t start out in the beauty aisle or the boardroom. Instead, DERMA E began in a small health food store in Southern California. The first product was a jar of Vitamin E 12,000 I.U. Moisturizing Cream. People were amazed at the results it had on their skin and word caught on. Over the years DERMA E has introduced many extraordinary products, each one rooted in the belief that skin health can be visibly improved through the right combination of potent vitamins, wholesome nutrients and exceptional ingredients.
Today DERMA E has grown to become one of the largest natural facial care brands in the U.S. The success is attributed to honoring our customers with products that promote healthier-looking skin and business ethics that promote a healthier world.
