Washington, D.C., Feb. 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Washington, D.C. – Experts from the American Institutes for Research (AIR) will deliver several presentations at the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE) Spring 2018 conference, being held February 28—March 3 in Washington, D.C.
AIR researchers will present on a wide range of topics aligned to this year’s conference theme—“The Evidence Behind Evidence Use: When Does Education Research Inform Practice?”—including teacher preparation and education, researcher-practitioner partnerships, social and emotional learning, early childhood education and more. AIR will also host a career forum and a forum on women in quantitative methodology.
Founded in 2005, SREE seeks to support researcher and education policy and practice through a variety of work, including publications, professional development, programmatic initiatives and conference. The annual SREE Spring Conference attracts hundreds of education researchers, policy leaders, and professionals from across the country.
