KEMP, Texas, April 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics LLC, has released an explosion proof signal LED light warning system equipped with two explosion proof LEDs and a 55-tone explosion proof audible horn. This cutting-edge industrial warning system is designed for environments where flammable gas and dust are present or may exist such as hydrogen processing facilities, oil and gas related work sites, chemical plants gas stations and other hazardous locations.
The EPL-TL-2X60.RD2-C-PA-B is an explosion proof signal light system complete with two explosion proof LED signal lamps and an audible explosion proof horn. This 120-watt AC LED unit emits a total of 14,400 lumens and comes in red and amber, red and green, red and red, or amber and green light color configurations. 120V AC or 12V DC options are available for standard or low voltage connections. Lamps are offered in steady burn or strobe configurations and features colored LEDs, instead of colored globes, which provides a higher light output. The audible explosion proof horn is attached to the top of the assembly and provides operators with 55 tones to choose from via user settings, that reach a peak output rage of 96-100 dBA, making the the horn powerful enough to hear over loud industrial operations.
The two LEDs in the EPL-TL-2X60.RD2-C-PA-B are constructed of copper-free aluminum with a polyester powder coating and are protected by Pyrex globes with cast aluminum guards. The housing can withstand up to 1490 pounds of PSI hydrostatic pressure. The audible horn is constructed of heavy-duty zinc alloy. This LED light warning system is equipped with a ¾” NPT access hub for wiring connections, which are protected by an explosion proof NEMA 4X rated junction box. Operators can easily mount this predrilled fixture to walls and other flat surfaces.
