SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Druva, Inc., the leader in cloud data protection and management, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has awarded Druva a 5-Star rating in its 2018 Partner Program Guide. This annual guide is the definitive listing of partner programs from technology vendors that provide products and services through the IT channel.
The 5-Star Partner Program Guide rating recognizes top companies that offer solution providers the best partnering elements in their channel programs. In the past year, Druva’s partner community has delivered more than 60 percent of all new business which represents a significant increase from less than 10 percent the prior year. This growth is a result of to Druva’s partner-first strategy, combined with the market interest of Druva’s offering versus traditional solutions.
As the global leader in cloud data protection and management, Druva was the first to offer data management-as-a-service and continues on a path of rapid growth, with cloud revenue growing more than 80 percent year over year.
“The Druva cloud platform addresses two challenges for our clients: securing and protecting on-premise and cloud hosted data, and the need for modernization in their data protection strategy, which is a clear differentiator in the marketplace,” said Chris Saso, chief technology officer, Dasher Technologies. “Dasher looks for partners that invest in us as much as we invest in them. Along with an innovative technology, Druva delivers the high quality partnership that we seek.”
To further drive the ongoing expansion of Druva’s partner business and customer adoption, the company also announced the appointment of Angelina Scott as senior director of America’s partners. Scott joins Druva with 20 years of experience in various roles within channel, distribution, end user and sales management.
“Angelina is a well known leader in the partner community, recognized for her commitment to driving positive business outcomes for end-users, partners and the vendors she has worked for,” said Alan Bibergall, vice president of sales, Sayers Technology. “On behalf of Sayers, we are confident her engagement in our already strong Druva partnership will help us deliver even more value to our customers.”

“Finding the right technology vendor to partner with can be a daunting task, given the vast array of choices now available to solution providers,” said Robert Faletra, executive chairman of The Channel Company. “CRN’s Partner Program Guide and 5-Star ratings help them narrow the field and find the best fit, identifying the most rewarding partner programs and providing crucial insight into their strengths and benefits.
