Jostens Celebrates Another North Dakota State University Championship with Custom Championship Rings and Fan Collection

Longstanding partnership celebrates NDSU’s sixth championship in seven years

MINNEAPOLIS, April 13, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Jostens, the nation’s leading provider of custom, hand-crafted fine jewelry for college and professional sports teams, has once again partnered with North Dakota State University (NDSU) to create the Bison football team’s 2017 FCS championship ring and a collection of championship jewelry for its fans.

On Friday April 20, 2018, the championship ring will be presented to NDSU players and coaches prior to the team’s annual Green & Gold Spring Game held at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.  The 2017 NDSU Championship Ring commemorates the Bison’s sixth championship in seven years.  NDSU has partnered with Jostens to create all six of the team’s championship rings since 2011.

“Jostens is honored to once again partner with NDSU to design a ring and fan collection that not only celebrates the 2017 team’s achievement, but also exemplifies the program’s legacy of success,” said Chris Poitras, chief operating officer and vice president, Jostens College and Professional Sports division.  “These stunning rings were handcrafted to recognize the team’s accomplishment and commemorate the program’s legacy.”

“It has been a pleasure to continue our partnership with Jostens to craft these one-of-a-kind keepsakes which, thanks to the generosity of Team Makers, we will be awarding to each player and coach,” said Troy Goergen, Senior Associate Director of Athletics External Operations, NDSU. “We are also proud to unveil for our fans a custom selection of personalized jewelry with designs inspired by the FCS championship ring.”

To further celebrate this remarkable chapter in the program’s history, NDSU and Jostens have collaborated to create a custom selection of personalized jewelry and collectibles for Bison fans. The collection will be unveiled and available for sale at the NDSU Tailgate Expo on Friday, April 20th from 4-8 pm inside the Fargodome, and will also be available online at http://www.jostens.com/ndsufootball for a limited time.
