PREMERA BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD OF ALASKA RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS BRAND EXCELLENCE AWARD

Anchorage, Alaska, April 18, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska announced today that it has received a Brand Excellence Award from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA). The annual awards honor Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) companies that excel in developing and enhancing the overall BCBS brand image.

Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska received the Brand Excellence Award in the “Member Retention” category for having an especially high percentage of members renew their coverage over the past year in the state. Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska currently serves 163,000 members.
