SAN DIEGO, April 20, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Adderall increases an individual's ability to concentrate, maintain focus, and high doses can cause intense feelings of euphoria. Its effects are similar to illegal drugs such as Cocaine and Methamphetamine. Students are starting to buy Adderall in order to study and get better grades. Adderall increases concentration levels and a person's ability to complete tasks much faster. Prescriptions for Adderall are also on the rise with kids claiming to have ADHD just to get the drug. Most doctors write the prescription, unaware that the patient is going to abuse the medication. Many doctors, however, have stopped prescribing the medication, due to its addictive properties. The government has classified Adderall as a Schedule II narcotic, putting it in the same category with illegal drugs such as Cocaine, PCP and Methamphetamine.
Adderall abuse, however, still continues, if students can't get it legally, they can always buy Adderall from illegitimate sources. Students who have prescriptions for the drug are more than eager to sell the medication, with prices ranging anywhere from five to ten dollars a pill. Even with the strict regulation on the illegal sale of Prescription Drugs, students continue to buy Adderall. Some students buy it during exams to increase concentration and be able to study for longer periods of times. Studying however, is not the only thing that Adderall is used for. Adderall increases levels of Dopamine in the brain, causing a massive increase in energy. There have been many recorded incidents of athletes that buy Adderall as an effective way to boost energy. Adderall continues to be abused by students, teenagers, and even adults. Most people overlook the side effects, convincing themselves that it’s no different than taking Tylenol for a headache.
