BioNovelus Receives Organic Certification for CR-10®

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Phoenix, April 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- — BioNovelus is proud to announce that its flagship product CR-10®, a non-toxic, organic fungicide has received the organic certification from Mayacert.

Mayacert, the leading company in the certification of agricultural products, process, and systems, operates in the southern region of Mexico, Central America, and Colombia. For twenty years, Mayacert has been promoting certification services for small, medium and large agricultural producers, processors, and food exporters.

Mayacert Organic certification has a national and international recognition. It offers co-certification with most international organizations like USDA-Organic, Canada-Organic, EU-Organic, Japan JAS, UTZ-certified, and Organico SAGARPA Mexico.

“This certification is a big milestone for BioNovelus.” says BioNovelus’ Founder and CEO, Jean Ekobo. “Our team has worked for it diligently, and we have been waiting for this for quite a while! Farmers and food packers using CR-10® will now be in compliance with the various agencies’ organic standards for crops and coffees grown in Mexico, Central America, and Columbia. So far, there was a gap in biosecurity between the organic harvest and the post-harvest and shelf life of organic produce. CR-10® now fills the gap in the organic food chain by providing an effective tool to kill pathogens such as E-coli and Salmonella, the leading cause of billions of dollars of food recall.”
