NEW YORK, May 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Glimpse Group, Inc. (“Glimpse”), a Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (“VR” and “AR”) platform company comprised of multiple VR and AR software & services start-ups, announced today that it has acquired the VR/AR assets of iKnow.io, Inc. (https://iknow.io/xr) and established its 10th subsidiary company – MotionZone, LLC. MotionZone provides Web VR and AR data visualization and analytics solutions targeting the Sports industry, including: e-Sports, Fantasy Sports, Sports Media, Leagues and Franchises.
MotionZone is led by Yoav Caspi. Mr. Caspi is an experienced technology and product leader, with a strong track record of building successful global web products at scale, focusing on data processing, analytics and visualization. In addition to founding iknow.io, a web data analytics company, Mr. Caspi was previously a part of two tech startups, FareChase and VideoSurf, that were respectively acquired by Yahoo and Microsoft.
In conjunction with his role as the General Manager of MotionZone, Mr. Caspi will also take on the role of Glimpse’s VP of Engineering, reinforcing Glimpse’s strong technological base.
