TORONTO, May 09, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- IBI Group (TSX:IBG), a Toronto-based, global design and technology firm, will announce the launch of an exciting, new Smart Cities initiative tomorrow, alongside partners, including: EllisDon, The Weather Network and Slate Asset Management, as well as technology provider Microsoft. The initiative will be announced at the Smarter Urban Future event hosted at IBI Group’s head office on May 10th. Partners will be in attendance and available to speak with media. In addition to the announcement, the event will feature an emerging technology pavilion, with booths including virtual reality and parametric design. Media are invited to peruse the booths, interview booth demonstrators, and learn about the technologies and their impact on cities.
