KEMP, Texas, May 14, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hal Richards, received an endorsement for Kaufman county judge from Jeff Jordan, Mayor of Kaufman. In a letter addressed to the citizens of Kaufman, and a video edited and distributed by Larson Electronics LLC, Mayor Jordan announced his support of Richards, emphasizing Richard’s determined approach and leadership skills.

Mayor Jeff Jordan has served on the city council, the Kaufman Economic Development Corporation, and was communications coordinator at Trinity Valley Electric Cooperative prior to his election in 2015 as Mayor of Kaufman. Richards was a mentor to Mayor Jordan as he learned the role of being a mayor and Jordan proudly supports Richards, stating that Richards knows what it takes to lead a city with grace and dignity, as he did with Terrell when it was dealing with difficult times during the recession.
“During his tenure as mayor of Terrell, I watched him set goals, identify priorities, determine the most efficient approach and then follow through to achieve those tasks,” said Jordan. “And he did so with the best interest of the tax payers in mind.”
