KEMP, Texas, May 18, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hal Richards, received an endorsement for Kaufman county judge from former Kaufman County sheriff, David Brynes. In a video edited and distributed by Larson Electronics LLC, Brynes announced his support, emphasizing Hal’s successful business experience.
“Not only does Hal have a tenure of 9 years as the Terrell mayor,” said Brynes, “he also has been an independent business man for many years, very successful in that venue."
David Brynes served as Kaufman County sheriff for 16 years and understands the pressures a position such as county judge comes with.
“Like the sheriff the county judge is kinda like the quarterback, if you will, for the county,” stated Jacobs. “He (Richards) has to deal with all aspects of the county, he has to deal with all departments, and try to get a cohesive group together to do whatever needs to be done. So, it’s very important that they (county judge) have leadership and have experience at leading people and working on projects that are important to all the county.”
Brynes feels that Richards is the ideal candidate for county judge. “I believe it is imperative that we have someone that has been able to not only work big budgets, but has been successful in setting goals and priorities,” said Brynes. “I believe this person is Hal Richards.”
