Palo Alto, June 21, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --
Entytle, the leading provider of Aftermarket Engagement solutions for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), today announced it has successfully completed the SOC 2 Type II audit under the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) guidelines with zero exceptions listed.
The examination, performed by Schellman & Company, LLC, a Florida based CPA firm experienced in SOC examinations, included controls over Entytle's human resources, communication, risk management, technology, logical access, software development, monitoring, and data backup.
"A SOC 2 examination is a rigorous audit for a company to complete," said Jeff Schiess, Manager at Schellman & Company, LLC. "Entytle has worked hard over a six-month period to establish strong controls over the Entytle Insyghts platform and effectively implement them. We reviewed and tested more than 60 controls related to data security, availability, and confidentiality."
"We decided earlier than most software company to invest in the SOC 2 certification process because it is critical for current and potential customers to know their data is safe and secure. The physical, logical, and methodological security measures that Entytle has instituted have been validated through this certification and confirmed as exemplary in the cloud-computing field. The audit and the SOC 2 report provide transparency to our customers so they have a full understanding of the controls we have in place to protect their data," says Vivek Joshi, CEO and Co-Founder.
This milestone is the latest in a number of efforts made by Entytle in recent months, as the company continues to optimize efficiency, mitigate risk and drive maximum value for its clients. In addition to SOC 2 compliance, Entytle is continuing to improve the security, confidentiality, availability and privacy concerns of customers and their data.
